The post Endgame era has just begun and we all have to admit that it left us all wondering whether Marvel can bring back any phenomenal movie as now most of the original cast have parted ways. Since phase 4 has begun, the gates to the Marvel Cinematic Universe are wide open. With Marvel being the biggest gamechanger in the market, many big names are now in the line to be a part of the franchise. Among all this, one name that has been on everyone’s mind including Kevin Feige is Keanu Reeves, the most loved man of Hollywood.
So, will Keanu Reeves become a part of Marvel?
While we have seen stars like Angelina Jolie and Harry Styles enter the league and Marvel bringing back old superheroes into the possibility of Multiverse, many have been wanting to see Keanu enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fans are dead crazy for the Matrix star to don a superhero soon!
Not just the fans, even Marvel President Kevin Feige has confirmed have meetings with the star and that he approaches him with new scripts that are written at the Marvel Studios. Among the debate, Keanu Reeves has also confirmed to have met Kevin Feige and have a word about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So will the megastar enter the franchise? Well, the answer lies with him.
Keanu in an interview has said that they haven’t really found a role for him yet. “We haven’t yet. We have met, and [Kevin Feige]’s a cool cat. Yeah. But no, we don’t have anything, gotta find something.” In the past, Kevin Feige also revealed during a 2019 interview with ComicBook.com, “We talk to him for almost every film we make. We talk to Keanu Reeves about it. I don’t know when, if, or ever he’ll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it.”
With The Matrix Resurrections just around the corner, Reeves does have a busy schedule yet his interest to join the MCU has once again resurfaced when he admitted that he found the Marvel Cinematic Universe impressive.
“It would be an honor. There are some really amazing directors and visionaries, and they’re doing something that no one’s really ever done. It’s special in that sense, in terms of the scale, the ambition, the production. So it would be cool to be a part of that.” says Keanu Reeves.
Though there is still no official confirmation whether Reeves will join the MCU or not yet his fans wasted no time in choosing a perfect role for the star. Ghost Rider was a popular speculation of the fans which they see as a perfect role for the John Wick star. According to his fans, he is talented enough to nail any part Marvel throws his way.
